TOKYO ART BOOK FAIR

Cesura Publish joins Virtual Tokyo Art Book Fair, don’t miss the chance to get a copy of Head of the Lion, our new Zine, the new Il Corpo del Capitano or some old rarities as Andante, Found Photos in Detroit or Russian Interiors. Can’t wait for fairs to be “real” again. I miss travelling with books a lot. In the meanwhile take a look HERE.

CESURA

CESURA is a photo collective founded in 2008 in Italy by Arianna Arcara, Luca Baioni, Alex Majoli, Gabriele Micalizzi, Andy Rocchelli, Alessandro Sala and Luca Santese. Today the group officially expands and I’m really happy to be part of this rebirth and join the group along with Arianna Arcara, Francesco Bellina, Stefania Bosso, Teresa Dalle Carbonare, Maria Elisa Ferraris, Chiara Fossati, Giacomo Liverani, Alex Majoli, Gabriele Micalizzi, Valentina Neri, Andy Rocchelli, Alessandro Sala, Giorgio Salimeni, Luca Santese, Marco P. Valli, Marco Zanella and Alex Zoboli.

The second picture is the cover of our new zine made by our publishing house, Cesura Publish. Get one HERE.

SMELL THE INK AND DRIFT AWAY

“…the outside world falls away, the eye scans the image, you sense the paper on your fingertips, you feel the optical information spreading into your brain, you hear the sound of the turning page, you see the next image, you become aware of your own calm breath.”

A great artcile by Teju Cole. LINK HERE. Thanks Sofia Masini for posting it!

ZIRA IN TIPI BOOKSHOP BOX

When you get a book at Tipi Bookshop it comes in a decorated box made by Andrea Copetti. After I received Afterword by Fukase (wonderful book about his cat) I left the box behind a tent. A few weeks later Zira started collecting her toys inside it and using it to sleep. Read the new interview about Tipi Bookshop HERE !
